Your privacy is our priority. Your bills and account information are used solely to prepare your personalized recommendations. We never share, sell, or disclose your information to any third party. Ever.

Privacy Policy

What information we collect

When you submit our review request form, we collect the following information:

  • Name, email address, and phone number

  • ZIP code and household information

  • Details about your current TV, internet, and cell phone services and providers

  • Estimated monthly spend on these services

  • Copies of bills you choose to upload

  • Account numbers and service details visible on uploaded bills

How we use your information

Your information is used solely to prepare your personalized bill review and savings recommendations. Specifically:

  • To research and compare plans and providers available in your area

  • To prepare your personalized savings plan document

  • To communicate with you about your review and recommendations

  • To process payment for our services via Stripe

We do not use your information for any other purpose.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell, share, rent, or disclose your personal information or bill details to any third party — including providers, carriers, advertisers, or data brokers. Your information stays with Household Advocate LLC.

The only exceptions are:

  • Stripe — our payment processor, who receives only what is necessary to process your payment. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

  • Jotform — our form platform, which stores your submitted form data on encrypted servers. Jotform's privacy policy applies to form data.

  • Legal requirements — if required by law or valid legal process.

How long we retain your information

We retain your information only as long as necessary:

  • Uploaded bills — deleted within 90 days of your review completion

  • Name, email, phone, and review details — retained for up to 1 year for customer service purposes

  • Recommendation documents — retained for up to 1 year

  • Payment records — retained for 7 years as required for tax purposes (managed by Stripe)

How we protect your information

All form submissions and file uploads are encrypted using 256-bit SSL encryption via Jotform. We access your information only through secure, password-protected accounts with two-factor authentication enabled. We do not download your bills to personal devices.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your information at any time

  • Withdraw consent for us to hold your information

Terms of Service

1. The service

Household Advocate LLC provides a personal bill review and savings advisory service. For a review fee, we research your current TV, internet, and cell phone services and prepare a personalized recommendations document identifying potential savings opportunities and suggested actions.

2. What our service is — and isn't

Our service is:

  • A research and advisory service based on publicly available plan information and information you provide

  • A personalized recommendation of lower-cost alternatives we believe are appropriate for your situation

  • Practical guidance on steps you can take to reduce your monthly bills

Our service is not:

  • A guarantee of specific savings amounts

  • Licensed financial, legal, or telecommunications advice

  • An endorsement or affiliation with any provider, carrier, or streaming service

  • A service that makes changes to your accounts on your behalf without your explicit consent during an implementation call

3. Fees and payment

The review fee ($29 or current posted price) is due upon submission and is non-refundable. This fee covers our time to research your bills and prepare your personalized recommendations regardless of outcome.

A success fee is invoiced separately upon delivery of your recommendations. The success fee tier is based on estimated monthly savings identified. Success fees are due upon receipt.

Implementation add-on fees ($79 or $129) are invoiced separately if you choose to add implementation support.

4. Refund policy

The review fee is non-refundable. If we identify savings of less than $20/month, no success fee will be charged. We do not offer refunds on success fees or implementation fees once services have been delivered.

5. Accuracy of information

Our recommendations are based on information you provide and publicly available plan pricing at the time of your review. Plan pricing, availability, and terms change frequently and we cannot guarantee that pricing will remain the same between the time of your review and when you make changes to your services.

6. Limitation of liability

Household Advocate LLC's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific review in question. We are not responsible for any changes you make to your services based on our recommendations, any service disruptions, early termination fees, or any other costs arising from actions you take following your review.

7. Referral program

Referral discounts are applied as a credit against your success fee invoice. Referral discounts are non-transferable and have no cash value. A maximum of three referral discounts ($30) may be applied to a single success fee invoice.

8. Affiliate links

Our recommendations may include Amazon affiliate links for recommended products such as indoor antennas. We earn a small commission if you purchase through these links at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links do not influence our product recommendations.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Savings estimates

Savings estimates provided in your recommendations are based on typical rates in your area and information you provide. Where your current bill was not available, estimates are based on average market rates. Actual savings may be higher or lower depending on your specific situation, negotiated rates, promotional pricing, and other factors outside our control.

 No provider affiliation

Household Advocate LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or compensated by any cable company, internet provider, cell carrier, or streaming service. Our recommendations are made solely in the interest of finding you the best value for your needs.

 Not professional advice

The information and recommendations provided by Household Advocate LLC are for informational purposes only and do not constitute licensed financial, legal, or telecommunications advice. We recommend consulting with appropriate professionals for decisions involving significant financial commitments or legal obligations.

 Third party services

We may recommend third party services, products, or providers. We are not responsible for the terms, pricing, availability, performance, or customer service of any third party. Any relationship you enter into with a third party provider is solely between you and that provider.
